Summary
We're excited to announce the release of two new additional modules to our SilverCloud depression and anxiety programmes: "Living With a Long-Term Condition" and "Fatigue".
They can be used to complement the core SilverCloud programmes by providing additional psychoeducation and practical tools tailored to particular challenges that people living with a long term condition can experience.
These additional modules are available as unlockable options that supporters can add to a client's programme when issuing an invite from the SilverCloud platform or when completing a review.
Living With a Long-Term Condition
Purpose
This module includes information that can support members to live a fulfilling life while managing chronic health conditions. It may be suitable for clients living with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, asthma, or multiple sclerosis who are also experiencing depression or anxiety. The content draws from research on living well with chronic conditions and combines cognitive-behavioural approaches with practical self-management strategies

- Self-compassion techniques and accepting difficult emotions
- Breaking the cycle of avoidance with TRAP and TRAC exercises
- Comprehensive self-care guidance (balanced diet, physical activity and relaxation)
- Activity management and pacing strategies
- Support for maintaining relationships (healthcare team, partners, children, employers, friends)
- Planning for setbacks and maintaining wellbeing
Fatigue
Purpose:
This module includes information that may help clients manage persistent fatigue symptoms that often accompany mental and physical health problems. It is best suited for clients experiencing overwhelming tiredness, lack of energy or exhaustion not alleviated by rest. The module follows NICE guidelines and incorporates proven CBT techniques.

- Psychoeducation about fatigue, including symptoms such as profound tiredness and brain fog
- Understanding the impact of fatigue on mood, body, relationships and daily life
- Practical self-care strategies (exercise, diet, relaxation)
- Activity monitoring and pacing techniques to manage energy levels throughout the day
- Tools include an activity tracker and an activity planning exercise
