Update to Accounts Management

Overview

• We are introducing a new landing page for users with multiple accounts.
• It will allow users to link accounts with the same email address.
• Once logged into one account, you can switch to other linked accounts without logging out and back in.

Why change it?

• Many SilverCloud users have multiple accounts.
• It can be confusing to remember which username and password are associated with which account.
• Different accounts have different permissions, which can cause frustration when users have to log in with a different account to see the data they are privileged to.

 What has changed?

• A new landing page will show if the account the user logs into has the same email as another account (image Part 1).
• All accounts with the same email will show up, but the user can only access linked accounts without entering a password.
• Unlinked accounts have a "Not linked" label at the bottom of the card.
• If the user clicks on the card of an unlinked account, they will be taken the the account linking page (image Part 2).
• A user can link the account by inputting the password on the account linking page.

How does this effect existing users?

• This will only effect clients with multiple accounts under the same email address.

• These users will be shown a new screen after they log in with a list of all accounts attached to that email address.
